Problem for Motorola (FMMOTV92PCI) Modem

Display says modem is out of order

I used to connect to the internet without problems. (I'm using motorola fax modem installed in my laptop.) But last night, I had a terrible time connecting so I gave up. There's always a message: Error 777 saying that the modem is out of order. What should I do?
