Question about Acer Computers & Internet
This can happen for many reasons so we will start with the simple ones.
1- the power settings are set to turn off after a short period.
(unlikely due to the fact that the power just shuts off)
Solution: right click on a blank part of the desktop and on the menu that drops down go to properties. Once in properties go to screen saver. At the very bottom there you should see a button called "power" click on that button and play with the settings until your satisfied that the computer is not set to turn off by itself at all. (no worries here you can set everything to never and you will be more than ok)
2- the insides of your pc are overheating. (most likely)
Solution: ok for this theres a ton of stuff you can do. but the main reason is that it is not getting enough cool room air inside. First unplug the machine then look at the fan on the back( it also may be on the side) if you see a ton of dust bunnies:) then your pc may need a bit of cleaning and can be easily done by removing the side panel. once you have the side panel off use compressed air found at any computer shop to get rid of the gunk. Hook the pc back up and make sure its in a spot where airflow is not a problem.
If one of these two options doesnt fix the problem then its possible that you have either a software conflict(happens alot) or maybe that a peice of hardware is begining to fail do to normal wear and tear.
If the options above dont help please feel free to contact me and i will walk you through what you need to do.
