I had to replace a motor so I did both of them and the 4 in 1 receiver. Since I had the patient open the Servos were also replaced. EK2-0705B = new receiver ESL031= Extreme SE 180 Ball Bearing Motors - 2X EK2-0508 = digital servo - 2X
Start it up and it just spins in a circle and wont lift off. Makes me want to go back to building plastic helicopters... Any suggestions, please...
Looking from the above top roters should rotate anticlockwise bottom roters should rotate clockwise also check blades are fitted right way round. I only sugest this because you have replaced the 4 in 1 and could have put on connections wrong wa round easy mistake good luck

A servo is a mechanism, usually a motor of some sort, that drives another mechanism. On a passenger aeroplane, for example, the control surfaces are too difficult for the pilot to operate because there is so much wind pressure against them, so they use hydraulic servos to move the elevator, flaps etc.
On a car, the drive by wire throttle control is a servo, which is electronically controlled by the computer, depending on the throttle position under the driver's foot.
In effect, the power steering ram on a car is also a servo, which is powered by the p/s pump, and controlled by the valves in the steering column.
On a smaller scale, the air conditioner has servos that open and close the relevant air duct flaps when the dashboard controls are shifted to control the flow of air in the car. Please note that on older cars, and some new ones, these flaps are not controlled by servos but by cables.
The remote controlled central locking on a car has servos in the doors that open and close the door locks when the remote button is pressed. On some cars these door lock servos are small electric motors, on others they use vacuum operated pistons, also called servos.

but you gotta pay attention to the light metallic circle which is used by the light sensor (the small black one with cables on it) to estimate motor movement -
first time i opened it and did the tape thing to the black rubber circle i eventually touched the light metallic circle and i think that caused it not working for me too
the light metallic circle must be totally clean and plain,
do your best, but be sensible
I had the same problem. There are circuit breakers under my seat, one of them had opened. (It was a push button type and was popped out further than the other.) Under the seat, near where the cables all connect. All I had to do was reset the breaker. I know what caused it. I was making a tight turn, and one tire was very low and over loaded the motor.
Its is probably a faulty potentiometer in the transmitter's throttle channel. Take it back to the store if possible otherwise see if you can get another transmitter and bind it to your helicopter. The binding process will be in your instruction book.
WOW! I have experienced the same spinning action . . all new parts etc. I have repaired 6 Coco's but this one has ate my lunch . . . when you power up it spins to the left . . . the more throttle the faster it spins . . have changed the 4 and 1 also and adjusted . . . over and over . . . does the 4 in 1 control the rudder action?
