should have a scart in and scart out, will be written above or below the scart as to whether it's a input or output, failing that try both to see which works you cant harm the unit by having the scart wrong, enjoy

I think that the laser might be mis-aligned or the laser unit itself is faulty. I f you are able to check this yourself if not find a competant technician. Hope this helps.

Either try changing video cable, or you may have loose solder joints on the video jack connection that will need to be resoldered.
