Question about Hoover AAA160 Front Load Washer

Door Hinge My door hinge has snapped, and I need to replace it. Just wondering how to get the old one off? There are two screws on the front, with 'star' screwholes. I have removed these, but the hinge still seems screwed in. Are there any other screws (eg inside?) I need to find, or do I need to brute force it? Thanks,

How do you install an Ikea kitchen cabinet door hinge?

The new Ikea Sektion door hinges mount in 2 holes that are horizontal. The dimensions for the hole placement are 62 mm up from the outside bottom of the cabinet where the bottom edge of the door will be. The first hole is 20 mm in from the front edge and the second hole is 33 mm from the first hole or 53 mm from the front edge. The holes can be drilled with a 3/16" bit to a depth of 9/16". After the holes are drilled, the plastic plugs on the back of the hinge mounting plate are pushed into the holes with the orientation triangle "arrow" stamped on the front of the mounting plate pointing toward the cabinet opening. After the mounting plate is flush with the surface, the two wood screws are tightened in the plastic plugs to expand the plugs and secure the mounting plate. The door hinge mounted to the door is then clipped onto the mounting plate by first engaging the "hooks" near the door end of the hinge then snapping the back end of the hinge into the clip at the rear of the mounting plate. The location of the door once mounted can be adjusted by turning the three screws on the hinge. The front screw moves the door right and left when closed. The center screw (recessed in the hinge) moves the door up and down. The back screw moves the door closer or farther from the cabinet when closed. The hinges "snap" the door closed, so if the door is too close to the cabinet the hinges can't snap it closed and the door remains ajar. The trick is to adjust the inner screw to move the door farther from the cabinet until it snaps closed. The snap can be strong, and the little bumper plastic disks you can stick to the door to soften the bump work to some extent. The best solution is to install one soft-close Utrusta piston per door. The piston clicks onto the hinge and slowly closes the door the last bit without a bang.

Canon a1100is camera battery door replacement

Kurt- I have successfully completed a d-i-y battery door replacement on my Canon A1100IS, and I make no claims about being an "expert." My training was watching u-tube videos of guys disassembling digital cameras (other models). Here's how to open the case on the A1100is, which is not really much different than opening the case on most any compact digital camera.
Using a size #0000 phillips screwdriver (Sears sells a set of 6 minis--slotted and phillips--for $10), I removed the nine screws from the side and bottom of the case plus one inside the mini-usb cover and the one inside the battery compartment.
Then, I gently worked the front and rear of the case apart (the top of the case halves have two snap clips that hold them together. Unlike some cameras, the A1100IS does not have any flexible cable straps between its front and rear covers.
With the case halves removed, I then used a tweezers to move the straight end of the hinge spring out of its original place next to the tripod socket. That released spring pressure on the hinge and I could then easily remove the hinge pin with the tweezers.
Then, it's simply a matter of placing the replacement door's hinge/spring combo in the proper location and inserting the hinge pin to hold it there. I purchased a new door from Canon for $8.42 plus shipping). Then, I used the tweezers to position the straight hinge spring end in the slot next to the tripod socket.
The only thing left was to wipe my fingerprints off of the LCD screen and then gently replace the front and rear case halves--snapping the case's top together and then replacing the nine screws.

We are replacing old doors only in an old house. when we put the hinges on the new door the bottom hinge is slightly misaligned. when we get it put together it binds

Hi this is what I would do. a shim pack at any hard ware store (wooden wedges) cheap. 2.take one side of bottom hinge off, frame. 3.shut the door and use shims end to end like this >< Where needed to fit door, some on bottem ,one set on knob side and anoughter set on hinge side.At any rate where ever they are needed to leval the door in the frame. some wooden dowels to plug frame holes, might have to drill screw holes larger for dowles.Drive dowels in and break them off. 5.swing bottem hinge in to place and screw hinge down. This should work and you may need a wood chissle or flat screw driver for modifacation where hinges seat. You may have to reseat both hinges or put shim stock behind the frame hinges to line up every thing.I hope something here will help and please feel free to ask any questions that you have and add any thing that will help me see this clearer. You will need a person on both sides of the door to drive the shims togeather to keep the door level. Thank you for choosing

The door hinge has snapped is it easy to take off and replace.

Two screws hold the hinge to the frontplate of the machine which goes into a threaded nut welded to the panel (torque to 30/40 foot pounds or relatively snug).. just remove the screws and raise the hinge and pull forward..(keyhole slotted on)... then reverse to attach the new door...

Unplug the refrigerator and remove all food and utility bins from the doors. With the door open, remove the grille from the bottom of the refrigerator. Close the door.

Step 2
Remove the cover from the top hinge with the putty knife. Remove the three screws underneath, then remove the hinge. Take off the freezer door.

Step 3
Remove the three screws from the center hinge, then remove the hinge. Take off the refrigerator door.

Step 4
Remove the two screws from the bottom hinge, then remove the hinge. Replace with the new hinge and insert the two screws.

Step 5
Seat the refrigerator door on the bottom hinge and close the door. Fasten the new center hinge with the three old screws.

Step 6
Seat the freezer door on the center hinge and close the door. Fasten the top hinge and replace the top hinge cover.

Step 7
Replace the base grille, and plug the refrigerator back in.

Faceplate of door by lower L/H hinge cracked. How do I remove the door to replace the Faceplate?

Front doors are attached inside the microwave at the top and bottom of the oven cavity. Top case has to come off using, likely, security torx screw drivers.
Remove the top hinge.
Remove the bottom hinge.
Door falls off.
Replace the front panel of the door.
Reinsert the lower hinge with the door, close and latch the door.
Holding the door firmly to the microwave, tighten the door hinge. Replace the top hinge.
(On some units, both hinges need to be installed at the same time. Use masking tape to hold the lower hinge - makes it easier.)

Need help replacing handle on whirlpool microwave model MH1150XM

Remove two screws on top at front in order to remove plastic front vent grill. Then the door lifts off pin hinges. Lay door flat on surface. Plastic trim snaps off with gentle prying (start at bottom middle and bottom hinge side). Then remove six screws holding notched metal section with door latch. This piece will also snap out (several visible clips holding it around edges). Then remove door handle screws, Replace handle and reverse process to put back together.

Door hinge

Firstly if you haven't already done so remove the door and the old Hinge. You can do this by undoing the screws at the back that hold the top of the machine on and remove the top of machine. Now you will see a piece on the inside where the hinge screws into. Hold onto this piece and undo the screws from the outside. Carefully remove the inside piece (because I dropped mine inside and it took me an age to get it out!!). Now undo the screws on the door and pull it apart. Replace the old hinge and screw door back together. Now holding the inside piece back in original position screw the hinge and back onto the machine. (You might need someone to hold the door in place for makes it much easier). Finally screw the top of the machine back on.
