The power supply on my IN24 shut down. the local repair shop in Albania says I need a part #SU 802. Nobody seems to know what this is. It is a small part about 1 inch long with two prongs on one end to plug it in somehwere. Where can I get this part?

Re: InFocus IN24 powersupply part needed
Chances are it's a capacitor, if it went on a power supply. get the power supply back and see if the main capacitor is puffy. you can fet one at almost any electronics store. otherwise, replace the whole power supply.

Hello, my infocus in104 will power up for a while (1- 5 minutes) when connected to the power supply and turned on, after that it automatically shuts down. Power button does not light red when it automatically shuts down and need to be unplugged for a minute or more before red power button will light up again.
if it runs for a few minutes before shutting down, it could be the lamp. check to see if the seams of the lamp that are closest to the underside of the top cover have foil tape covering the seams, if not then this has been known to cause premature shutdown.
Some capasitors should be changed in the powersupply and several diodes too, may be. There are temperature mode in the power supply is very hard and those capasitors broke from that. Therefore running of projector is not stable. However if dont change capasitors at time then one diode may be broken and the projector will not start afterthat alwase.
Its not so big work for repaire.
I hope may english is understandable for you.
