Washing machine will not spin

If this only happens on quick wash, it could be that this cycle does not spin. I have come across a few washers that do not spin on short or quick wash cycles. If it spins on all other cycles, I would say the machine is OK.

you have probably done no harm. try selecting spin and drain again to ensure the water has drained properly.
Machine starting on its own after 5 minutes or so is usually the door lock failing, again not caused by your actions.

The lid switch may be defective. If it is, the washing machine doesn't spin. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washing machine to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it.

MY WASHER WANT SPIN AT ALL

HI mate , if your model is an LG 8013F . I had the same problem . evrything is control by the CPU and it cannot be repaired .
What i had done is to replaced the Control board completly and it works perfectly .

I have one unit extra if u are interested let me knw , i can sell it for $60 + PP
