Question about KitchenAid 24 in. KUDP01IL - Multiple Color Built-In Dishwasher

Dishes not coming out clean

We are having problems with the dishes not coming out clean, although it happens intermittently--about 1 out of every 2 or 3 times. It does not seem to matter which cycle I use or what temperature the water is. Sometimes the detergent dispenser hasn't opened and the tablet remains undissolved. Most of the time, though, this doesn't happen. I have tried running it with vinegar, to no avail. My husband did find a cherry pit in the filter, and we thought this might be the problem, but the problem persists even after removing it. Some of the dishes will come out dry, others very wet, some clean, others as though the spray never touched them. We are very perplexed...

It's mostly the top rack dishes not coming out clean.

Most cleaning problems are caused by the dishwasher not getting enough wash water, so the water-inlet valve is often to blame. This valve is usually at the bottom left or right of the dishwasher, behind the lower access panel. It's the device with the main water line from the house, a rubber tube to the dishwasher, and two wires attached to it.

When a water-inlet valve is defective, you may hear the sound that's usually referred to as "water hammer." If the water-inlet valve is defective, you need to completely replace it.

Xerox Copycentre C20: Copier doesn't scan top 1-3 inches of page. Happens intermittently. When this happens, it moves everything else on page to the top of the copy, cutting out what should be

The document feed rollers may be dirty/worn which is causing the paper to come into the scan area late causing your document cut offs. use a clean, lint-free cloth dampened (not moist) with water and clean the document feed rollers. Confirm they are dry then, try scanning multiple pages and see if they pull through without stalling. If they do, it's time to replace those rollers.

Arcam avr 300 keeps switching off intermitently, and the red standby light flashes.

I wonder if anyone can help explain what the likely problem will be with my Arcam AV300 amp. Whilst watching TV for no particular reason an extremely loud (what i can only describe as feedback) sound comes out of my B & W speakers for approximately 3 seconds, then silence as the Arcam switches off, I’m then unable to switch it back on for a period of time, (this varies between 5minutes to a few hours) when it eventually switches back on everything seems to be working perfectly. This has happened quite a number of times although it’s intermittent & occurring every 1 - 6 weeks.

Trouble with Tuner 2

From experience, I suspect that the dish has lost it's optimum "focus" on the satellites, and your signal has dropped. In your case, tuner #2 just happens to need a little more signal than tuner #1 - and that's revealing the root problem.

If you can have a second person handy, use the signal meter function and view the signal. Then one person should move the dish a bit (likely upward a hair). If the signal goes up with just the slight movement of the still tight dish, that's the problem.

If so, it's time to align the dish.

they say software issue when they don't have a clue. if you don't have a service plan with dish, get one and have them send out a technician to fix your problem. they'll have to fix it. it may be a bad cable or fitting coming from the dish. p.s. you can always cancel the service plan, after a nominal amount of time, after they fix it

Kenmore Dishwasher Not Sanitizing

You don't need an additive.
The sanitized LED itself is probably out.
It will not light up if the sensor doesn't sense that the water has reached 155 F. If the dishes are getting clean, I assume the heater is working properly. You could have a failed sensor, but you would usually notice longer than normal wash times and the dishwasher getting hotter than usual.
Alternately press heat dry and hi temp scrub 4 times. This puts washer into diagnostic mode. The first thing that happens is all the LED's light up. If it lights up then it is ok and the problem is somewhere else.
If these instructions don't apply to your machine, please post the complete model number from the decal just inside the front of the tub and I will look it up for you.
