I have the same problem with my euro-pro cordless sweeper. I called customer service to ask for help as I believe the "sqeegie" 10" thin rubber piece is missing. I was told that the only way to get this part is to buy the entire replacement of brushes, etc. which is over $20 plus tax/shipping. That's ridiculous! I spoke to someone and asked that he communicate my concerns about this as I feel it is ripoff for the customer to be charged for something not needed. I may as well buy a new one!

SOURCE: too loud noise of Bissell 6590-W vacuum cleaner

When they get real loud either the motor bearings or the motor fan are bad and you will have to replace the motor, part #2031100, would sell for about $45.

SOURCE: vacuum making loud noise (like hole in tube)

I have the same vacuum - it's a clog in the brush area, or where the hose connects to the base. Unhook the hose, like you're going to use a tool. Lay the vacuum flat, so you can stick something in the plastic tube (at the base where you disconnected the hose) without the awkward angle. I use a dryer vent cleaner, but you could probably use a wire hanger. Push through until it comes out through the brush area...should fix your problem.

SOURCE: v1917n shark vacuum won't run

I just had a similar problem. I opened battery compartment, pulled battery wires out until the white connector was visible, disconnected/reconnected and voila it the motor starts. But the battery was discharged even though I just pulled it off the charger. But, it was flashing red while on the charger previously, and now it the green light is on while charging. So, it appears it wasn't charging while flashing red, or my battery needs replacing? time will tell.

Shark cordless sweeper making loud noise s When in use only 1eek old

Did you check the bottom of the sweeper to make sure you didn't pick up a rock or pieces of a toy or ect.... That might had gotten stuck in the sweeper. If it's not that! 1week old, you might consider exchanging it for another.

I need to change my sweeper belt on my Dyson 14 Animal

When turned on and set to sweep the sweeper makes a loud noise like it has something stuck in it but the brush is turning abut not does not have a lot of sucking power. It started the other day when a blanket with tassels got caught and wund up in the brush and sucked up in the sweeper a bit. Tried to pull out while running and came out but made the loud noise. If I take off the brush then it does not make the noise when on. I think it might be the belt grooves are worn and slipping when the sweeper is in the sweeping on mode. Sorry, do not know the technical sweeper terms.
