Question about Liquid Video L17LCD2 17" Flat Panel LCD Monitor
I replaced both the C922 and C924 capacitors with new 1000 and 470 uF,35-volt units, making sure I got the polarity right. Still getting the same on/off behavior -- the desktop image appears only momentarily (less than one second), the monitor light goeso ff for about five seconds, then comes back on and the (very) brief image appears and the light goes out again. It keeps repeating. Some of the comments suggest it could be problems with the high voltage part of the inverter board, or maybe the little backlight bulbs. Sounds like I may need a new board. Do you know if I can buy one from Liquid Video? -- or do you have any suggestions for other things to try first?
I did the same thing. I fried the smaller capacitor instantly so I reinstalled the old one & it works fine now. Any buldging capacitors are bad ones... Good Luck!
