Question about Televison & Video
I have had this TV for little over a year and what seems like the day the warranty expired I began having problems with the backlight. What happens is the screen starts to flicker slightly and eventually goes to black
(no backlight, but still audio), the the set then shuts down and powers up by itself and works with no problems until the next occurrence. It is intermittent, but happens sometimes as often as every 15 minutes.
I have be told it could be the backlight, inverter, or SMPS ; any ideas and if parts are available?
I have a ln-s4092d that had the same problem after a little more than a year of service. Replacing the main board seemed to fix the problem. But about a year later, the same problem has reappeared. I'm getting ready to replace the main board once again, but I don't really want to do this on an annual basis/
