Question about Bestec (ATX-250-12E) 250-Watt Power Supply
When i try to turn on my pc, dont stay on the led just blink one time and never turn on and i note this: the fan from the power supply just spin one time also making a sound like is trying to turn on but it cant, i check the power supply and 2 capacitor have a bouble on top its that a signal of my power supply is damage?.

Faulty I should say, becaue you can repair it. Just replace the Buldgy capacitors. you'll need a soldering iron, soldering lead and a ****** to desolder the components terminals. Remember replace the caps with only the specific values indicated on them and also when replacing them see how you removed them is how you'll replace them and solder them back, if you not sure to do it yourself then provide the Capacitors and asked a friend who can do it for you. But if you think you can afford a new powersupply unit, thats fine.

The 250series has been replaced with 300 or higher models. They had to much trouble with those.
However when I repaired the 250's not had any problems. One has worked two aditional years running 24/7
