I nned a motorguide 46 lb. thrust electric foot controlled trolling motor manual

Go to Let me ask you a question, is it 5 speed? And if so have you lost some or all speeds but 5?. I so, them you need to take the lower unit apart and you will find solder laying in the bottom. You will see that the speed control coil wires at one if the terminals on the brush board has no solder. Clean it up along with the wires so that you see copper and re-solder. This is due to poor quality control on soldering at the manufacturer. When you re-assemble tighten the bolt 45-50 in-lbs only. No more.

How do you reset remote for w75 wireless trolling motor

Its very easy:

Reprogramming the Wireless Foot Pedal or RemoteNOTE: This activation procedure applies to the foot pedal and remote.

IMPORTANT: To activate multiple foot pedals or remotes, the motor must be unplugged from the power source and then plugged

back into the power source between activating each control device.

1. Unplug the battery cables from the power source. Wait 30 seconds and then plug the motor into the power source.

2. In less than ten seconds, press and hold the "+" and "-" buttons on either the handheld remote or the foot pedal controller

I bought a used trolling motor (motorguide brute 750 50# thrust) it has a 12-24 volt selector switch and three wires to hook up to battery, a black, a white, and a red. i'm assuming on 12v setting of...

the black wire goes to - and the red goes to + for 12 volts. If you want 24 volts you need to add another battery and run a jumper wire from the - of the first battery to the + of the second battery and hook the white wire to the - of the second battery. Here is a picture to help you.

I have a motorguide trolling motor and the front

With the top off take the six screws out and lift the cable and gear out. Next put your foot pedal at mid position. Then make sure the motor is pointed forward and reinstall the slider gear and the six screws. Last put the top on and make sure the arrow indicator is pointing forward and thats it.

Can you change a motorguide 65lb thrust foot control model with fix speed settings to a variable speed

well a "Speed Controller" can usually be used on ANY DC/AC motor, depending on type, some motors just will not work, with a speed controller... Think of it a bit like a "Light Dimmer", with the "Bulb" being the "Motor"
Have a look below for info.

I'm not sure my earlier post went through..Again, Mine is doing the same thing. I noticed a piece of rubber on the floor next to the foot control. I think this piece of rubber was on top of the switch and allowed it to make better contact with the gray lever. I'm going to tear into mine this week. I'll post my results here.
