Question about Faber Pro Magnum 605989 Kitchen Hood
We have the Faber Pro Magnum and we love it's blower power. It is a little loud at full blast but the exhaust is great. However we have been using it for 5 years and though we have cleaned the filters fairly regularly the grease seems to have built up in the channels on the control panel is oozing grease as well as the area nearer the back of the range. It looks like it is hard to reach that area. Any wisdom on how to clean this and stop the build up? Thanks David

Hi,
As the fan is not working but the light does work, it is either a defective fan switch or burned out fan motor. You can
replace either one without removing the vent hood from the wall,
but you need to use an ohm meter to decide which component is
defective.
The fan switch should have 0 ohms of resistance when switched
on. If it doesn't, replace the switch. If it does, you need to
replace the fan motor.
Note - This is only for informational purpose. This is mere speculation what could be the cause on the basis of the symptoms you mentioned.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
