I need to know titles of lights that blinks on tv while it trying to power up. There are Power, Lamp and Temp lights, let me know what light blinks, this will help me to diagnose the problem as I hate to guess like try this and try that.

Have you replaced the bulb? sounds like the bulb has exploded. It'll cost you roughly $200 for a new one.

Have you actually replaced the lamp first? A weakened lamp will often cause random shutdown or troubles during initial firing of the lamp. The LG televisions will be just the bulb itself not the complete lamp assembly. It's not hard to replace the bulb as long as you first allow the TV to cool down for a minimum of an hour. If the lamp has been replaced I would think the Lamp ballast would be most likliest followed by the color wheel and then the Digital board. You can get any part needed for your model at www.tvrepairworld.com just leave them a email they respond quickly.

If the second light is blinking to orange or red, that is usually the lamp indicator light on an LG DLP tv. That indicates your bulb needs replaced, or something surrounding the bulb has failed (like the cooling fan for the bulb for example) IF you have a spare bulb handy, I'd replace the bulb, keeping in mind if you touch any part of a new bulb with your bare hands, you just cut the life of the bulb by more then half.

It's telling you your lamp is reaching the end of it's life you need to replace it.

Make sure all the air filter caps are all the way in and nothing is broken from it. that was my cause..i had the same problem

I had the same problem, turned out to be the bulb, had it replaced and now I`m having problems with the new bulb (dark picture).By the way the first bulb lasted only 8 months and it has been 8 months since the new one was put in, so much for the 5 year bulb.
