Are there any fixes for older versions of the disney interactive games like toy story that will work on windows xp. We had upgraded our computer from millenium and now some of our games don't work.

You could try this.

To run the Program Compatibility Wizard

  1. Start the Program Compatibility Wizard.
  2. Follow the instructions in the wizard.
Toy Story Interactive Incompatibility - clip_image001.gifNote
  • To start the Program Compatibility Wizard, click Start, click Help and Support, click Find compatible hardware and software for Windows XP, and then, under See Also in the navigation pane, click Program Compatibility Wizard.
To set the compatibility properties for a program manually
  1. Right-click the program icon on your desktop or the shortcut on the Start menu for the program you want to run, and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Compatibility tab, and change the compatibility settings for your program.

  • The Compatibility tab is only available for programs installed on your hard drive. Although you can run the Program Compatibility Wizard on programs or setup files on a CD-ROM or floppy disk, your changes will not remain in effect after you close the program.
If this doesn't work you will not likely be able to play them.

Why can't i play bakery story

First I must ask what platform are you trying to play it on? iPhone? iPad? or MacOS?

The listing on iTunes says it is for iPhone and iPad. So if you are trying to play it on your Mac computer .... no.

Second, If you are trying to get to play on your iPhone or iPad then you need to sync your iPhone/iPad with your computer, but there are a couple things to check.

With your iPhone/iPad connected to your computer via USB cable, if iTunes does not automatically startup then manually startup iTunes. I'm assuming you have iTunes version 11.2.1 or later.

In the left-hand column of iTunes, under the 'Library' heading you should see 'Apps' .... click on it. In that screen you should see Bakery Story listed. If not, then Bakery Story has not been downloaded to iTunes yet and you need to try the download again.

If Bakery Story IS showing up there, you now want to look under 'Devices' and click on the name of your iPhone/iPad. Now click on "Apps" in that window and you should see a list of the apps that are actually installed on your phone/pad. If you see Bakery Story in that list then Bakery Story HAS been successfully installed. But, if as you claim, Bakery Story is not listed there you need to check in the bottom-left of that list and see if "Automatically Install New Apps" is checked. If not, click the box tout a checkmark there, then in the bottom-right corner of that window click on the "Apply" button, which will cause that button to change to "Sync" so you need to click it again to start the Sync process to start.

If a lll goes as expected this will make iTunes copy Bakery Story from your computer to your iPhone/iPad.

While installing games ..window opens and says "can't start or run due to incompatibility w/64 bit version of windows"

Yes, this is a really big issue, in that 32 bit machines are (apparently) no longer made, and that renders lots of software useless. Look for a 64 bit version of the game that you want to install.

You should try going to directory where the game is installed and find the .exe file that starts the game. Right click on it and find compatibility tab and change there to win 98.

Scrabble 2005 edition wont work with vista

It works well with vista, but if you find some error then try running it in compatibility mode. Download it revised version from http://www.amazon.co.uk/Scrabble-Interactive-2007-PC-CD/dp/B001F3QJCY/ref=pd_sxp_grid_i_0_0

C;\Documents and Settings\admin\My Documents\downloads\Silverlight.exe is not a valid win32 appplication

HI,

causes for these problems are:

1. File is corrupt, bad, or missing.

2. File is not designed for your version of Windows.

3. File is a virus, worm, or other malware file.

4. Hardware incompatibility.

Step 1: Verify that the program installation CD is clean. If the CD is dirty or bad, you could get this error during the install and/or get this error after the program has been installed because it was not copied properly onto the computer.

Step 2: Make sure the program or file you're attempting to run does not contain the same name as the long file name directory it is contained in. For example, executing a file named "program" in the "program files" directory can cause errors.

Step 3: If you're trying to run a program that is not designed for your version of Windows you may get this error. Although many older programs designed to work in older versions of Windows will work with new versions of Windows, unfortunately, not all programs will work.

· If the program is an older MS-DOS program or early Windows program you may get this error.

· If the program is designed for a 64-bit version of Windows and you're running it in a 32-bit version of Windows, it will not work and generate this error.

Step 4: Run an online scan for any threat and try to fix them

License key

FM09 - Football Manager (FM 2009) error product key already active. The solution is you need to delete the certificates and re-activate the game.
1) On receiving the error, please uninstall the game
2) Please navigate to the following directory:

XP users: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009 Certificate
Vista users: C:\Program Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009 Certificate

3) Please ensure that it is the \certificate directory you are located in
4) Delete all content
5) Reboot the machine
6) Re-run the installation program and retry activation - ensuring you have 'verified' your key using the following website: http://keylookup.fm2009.softanchorinsight.com/
7) You should now be activated

If this doesn't work tell me and I will see what I can do.

even tho you have not stated what game it is, i would believe it is Football Manager 09 (?)

Try deleting the Settings folder from the following program path as detailed below:
» Windows XP:
My Computer -> Local Diskâ (C:) -> Documents and Settings -> <username> -> Application Data ->
Sports Interactive -> Football Manager 2009 -> Settings
» Windows Vista:
Computer -> Local Diskâ (C:) -> Users -> <username> -> AppData -> Roaming -> Sports Interactive
-> Football Manager 2009 -> Settings

Windows xp remote desctop (tweaked) , how to overcome problem with limit of 3 persons logged on windows xp in the same time?

hi,

As if you are aware, Windows XP is *NOT* a server operating system, so, any time, only *one* user will be allowed to log in *interactively*.
You need to use VNC software if you want to use your system by multiple users at the same time.

But, session will remain interactive for only one user at a time.
By *interactive* i mean, only one user at a time can be logged in, if multiple users are logging in using VNC or any other Utility software, they will be sharing the same session/desktop.

Thanks and regards.
