I need assistance using microsoft works. To be specific, the spreadsheet. I thought that it was similar to the Excell program, but, I failed to learn how to make and print lines on my charts. I was wondering if you have a specific manual that explain the process.

  1. Select the cells on the spreadsheet.

  2. Click on the Format menu to open the drop down list. (you may also right click and click on format cells)

  3. Click on Border

  4. You should see little boxes representing the lines that you want to see. click on one or many depending on what you need
I am assuming by lines you mean the lines that go around the borders or the cells to give it that accountants log feel and not the lines that go onto graphs, pies and the such.

If I can help you with anything else please post.

Please use the open source OpenOffice which is compatible with Microsoft Office. You will find the spreadsheet very easy to use and quite similar to Excel

Y cant i write in any one of my coloms in ms excell

It is possible you have locked the spreadsheet. I would check the spreadsheet to see if you have locked or protected the rows or columns or, maybe even the entire spreadsheet.

If WS.PageSetup.LeftFooter = "" Then
MsgBox ("No footer found!")

Merge two records in ms works 2000

The easiest way I could think to do this was using text formulae concatenate - The issue I thought you might have was the lack of spaces between each entry - hence the " "
