Question about PC Desktops

I need assistance using microsoft works. To be specific, the spreadsheet. I thought that it was similar to the Excell program, but, I failed to learn how to make and print lines on my charts. I was wondering if you have a specific manual that explain the process.

  1. Select the cells on the spreadsheet.

  2. Click on the Format menu to open the drop down list. (you may also right click and click on format cells)

  3. Click on Border

  4. You should see little boxes representing the lines that you want to see. click on one or many depending on what you need
I am assuming by lines you mean the lines that go around the borders or the cells to give it that accountants log feel and not the lines that go onto graphs, pies and the such.

Please use the open source OpenOffice which is compatible with Microsoft Office. You will find the spreadsheet very easy to use and quite similar to Excel

I have 8 programs that won't work and say "they do not have a program association with it for performing this action". They say to "create an association in the folder options control panel".


Windows uses "associations" as part of its object-oriented interface.

For example, after installing Adobe Reader, there will be an "association" created, such that everytime that you double-click on a 'PDF' file, then Windows will launch Adobe Reader.

Similarly, '.doc' files will be associated with Microsoft Word,
and '.xls' files will be associated with Microsoft Excel.

That's the correct way to "add" or "delete" a specific association.

It's strange that you don't have an association already defined;
it could be the result of a computer-virus, namely, one that has deleted that association.

How to use key board for paragraph spacing


It's not so much you being able to use your space bar, tab, indent and such. You need a good Software that usually does all the small stuff for you. Microsoft Word is a good software, of course their are alot of other good software too. Microsoft Office, has many good programs like Excell, Word, Access, Paint, Etc. Install Word and you are well on your way. Good Luck.

PREVENTING REPEAT ENTRIES IN A RECORD ENTER BOX OR REPEAT ENTRY OF EARLIER ENTRY


The only reference I find is that you may have a duplicate filter. Check the filters and delete the duplicate on.
Also, to create a reliable database, I would use Excel or OOpenOffice, which has a spreadsheet program compatible to Excel.

Download and install the free, open source OpenOffice.org office suite (www.openoffice.org)-- it include a spreadsheet compatible with Excel spreadsheets (along with a good, MS Word compatible word processor, and a good MS PowerPoint-compatible presentation program).

I purchased [this last week] a gateway desktop with Windows Vista Home Premium with SP1. I have been using a laptop with Windows XL which came with Microsoft Works Suite 2006 on it. I do not see any Word...

I have a Presario / Windows XP. When I bought the computerit was programed with Microsoft Words Programs.I still have Spreadsheet,letters ,envelopes and several others. When I click on Word prossesing now...

If your windows operating system and microsoft office application program are license to microsoft you need not need to purchase that said application, because that is the bug of their program and needs only updates, else if the this not encountered before and you have all the installer of this said application program. you have to unistall the program and reinstall it again after restarting the system.

if this not work, maybe you need to scan your system for viruses: you can scan online here: http://www.precisesecurity.com/antivirus/online-scan.htm

else if all this not work, you need to reformat and reinstall again the operating system and all drivers and the application program.

PS: pls do not rate me if my solution not solve the issue and you need more further information. but if is invaluable solution rate me fixya.
