Question about Casio Exilim EX-Z750 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Casio ex-z75 I have a casio that has gone to a "scrambled" screen. I saw on a post on FixYa that you suggested that the main board needs replacing. Can you elaborate on the repair and maybe how much that would cost. The camera is not an expensive one, so I want to see if it's worth it to repair. Thanks, Gregory Mellies gmellies@cox.net

Hello, we are in Australia and the cost of the repair is very expensive due to the part cost.

Depending exactly what Casio you have will determin weather it is a main board issue or something else (may be alot cheaper) but starting costs for main board replacments are $180 AUD upwards.

CASIO EX-Z75 CAMERA CABLE

I called Parts Replacement at 1-800-223-2001 and they told me I would have to purchase the USB Cable for my casio exilim ex-z75 over the phone for $4 (part) + $4.95 (S&H) because it not sold ANYWHERE online. I was hoping to get a cheap cable for a few bucks, but this is better than nothing!

Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z60... Problem

The power leads that are soldered from the main circuit board to the LCD are near the lens assembly ( about 7 o'clock). Did you break one of these? If so, it will need to be resoldered.
