Water leaking from freezer door and ice maker not gettin water
Frigidaire Pro Series fridge model #FRT22TSEB2 Series# LA80402289 Year made...1998 For the last month or so my ice maker goes through the motions of making ice and yet, no cubes are made. I'm guessing the water is not getting to it. How do I check to see if this is the case and fix it? The motor is working just fine. Also, for almost 3 months now the freezer door has begun dripping alot of water from the bottom of it, and either it ends up on the floor when you open the door, or it leaks down onto the top of the fridge door. Any idea what would cause this?? Thank you for any help you can offer!!

Check the fill tube for the ice maker and make sure it is in the correct place. This sounds like the fill tube has been moved and is running water into the freezer instead of the ice maker. Let me know what you find. I am here to help you.

The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn't seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.
If the water leak is down the back or ctr its the drain line going to the underside of the fridge. If its down the side where the ice maker is its the ice make is not level if no ice maker your tray under the freezer may be leaking instead of draining.
Your leaking problem gives two possibilities. The water control valve for the ice maker side is defective and while shut off the water will continue to slowly flow and leak into the freezer compartment. The other possibility id the condensate defrost drain is blocked and frozen over behind the rear panel of the freezer and at the bottom of th coils. I believe your defrost condensate drain has a blockage of ice and will need to be defrosted and clean the condensate line from the freezer to the condensate collection plate below your refrigerator. Most times the blockage begins slowly until the opening of the drain hole under the evaporator freezes itself shut. Below is a link to some solutions I have collected over a period of time. Also has a short movie that makes the repair look simpler. There are many reasons for this happening for example water leaking from a water supply line for the dispenser or ice maker, a crack in the defrost pan, water leaking inside and draining through the refrigerator cabinet, but most are caused by a defrost drain line blockage. Below is a link that may be helpful so try to take it all in and use the parts that most refer to your specific problem, Thanks Sea Breeze click on link below
Does water in door dispenser taste bad? If not, Try arm and hammer fridge deoderizer. It will help to absorb fridge odors which may be clinging to water molecules in ice maker tray. Ice maker tray is open to freezer area.Water is very medium to infiltrate with odors. Try this first
It is very unlikely that you have a leaking water line inside the fridge/freezer, as they are protected from damage. If you have water dripping from the ice maker inside the freezer and/or the dispenser in the door, the most likely problem is the valve that supplies water to the ice maker.
You'll need to replace the water inlet valve that supplies water to the ice maker. This is not the same valve that supplies water to the fridge (I believe the yellow colored valve) but rather, it is the blue valve, mounted just above the main water inlet valve.
At the bottom back right side of the fridge, you can remove the covering and see both the yellow and blue valves. The yellow one (on the bottom) is the incoming water control valve, while the blue (upper one) supplies water to the ice maker.
The part runs about $45-50 if you get it yourself, or around $185.00 for a repair person to come out and do the job for you. It should only take about 20-30 minutes to do it yourself with a small 1/4" nutdriver. Part available from Searspartsdirect.com or several other online and local stores. Just call around and give them your fridge model number and serial number, located on the inside of the fresh food section of the fridge - on the "ceiling" just inside the door.
