Question about Ingersoll Rand Stationary Air Cooled Rotary Screw Compressor 10 Hp, 35 Cfm At 125 Psi, Model# Ep
We have an Ingersoll Rand Rotary Screw air compressor ( 40 hp) and it keeps shutting down after only 10 minutes. We cleaned the radiators and air filters. The air temperature is low and it is not over heating.
do you have any suggestions?

Need more info. What is the Model. What type of oil (coolant) is being used. Has oil type been changed. Also check the oil cooler and make sure you can see thru it. Also some units will not run long with out all panels installed.

1. check the load and unload psi. make sure it is at 125psi for high setting and 90psi for low setting.
2. you may need to recalibrate your compressor settings. just look into your manual to recalibrate your compressor load/unload limits.
3. do you have an air dryer installed. is the dryer freezing the air supply?
