Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player
I turned it on and it just shows a black screen and the volume cirlce stays lit up the whole time. It wont turn off either!!! What do i do????????????/
Mine did the same thing too. when you plug it into a computer that is running on a flash drive, or you use it nonstop, it wil do this. try resetting the unit. press down on the power/menu button for 15 seconds, and when the pinwheel turns off, wait ten seconds, the turn it on with the HOLD icon in place, and push and hold the record button while it turns on. this will usually bring you to the recovry mode. then you must plug your sandisk onto you rcomputer, and wait for it to tell you when to unplug it. I f this does not work, go to the store that you got it from, and tell them. They will usually happily replace it, but if they don't, then call sandisk, press four for MP3 SUPPORT, and talk to them about it.

Take the battery out for a second. It should start up normal Further problems usually mean you should format it through media player or RealPlayer this can be a now and then problem..no permanent fix I know of

Hold down the power button for 45 seconds... It will automatically turn off, then it will turn on like normal.
