Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
Try cleaning out the phone as dirt can make it soung muffled as well. After that it might just be easier to buy a good bluetooth or handsfree set.

The speaker is the easiest part on the razr to repair. Purchase a new one (http://www.cnn.cn) and simply make the swap. It's a little more complicated for the speaker on the actual headset when you're making calls. I think that one requires you to actually resolder.
