Android Reboot Problem

Read about the Android reboot problem, for those of you that didn't hear about it, every time you type (SMS or mail) the word "reboot" Android reboots.

Can someone please offer more details about this problem and what Google is doing to fix this bug?

This problem was resolved with the latest release of the Android OS (RC30 in the USA). You can download this update and install it manually, or you can wait until T-Mobile send it to your device as an OTA update.

Steps to recover lock pattern of any android device phone
  1. Switch off the phone.
  2. Now hold this buttons all together at the same time "Volume up + Home Key + Power Button" until the phone boots (if you device doesn't have a home button just hold together volume up key and power key)
  3. Now a screen like DOS will come up with different options
  4. Use the volume key to move up and down then scroll down to "Restore Factory Defaults" or "Delete all User Data" depending on which is on your device.
  5. After clicking on the settings above, now scroll down to "Reboot System Now " and wait for your phone to reboot.
Now your phone will reboot and all lock pattern removed.

How do i get to recovery mode


Apart from the messy key combination, you can enter into recovery mode with help of android app onto your device. Just download "Quick boot" from Google play store and install it.
Open the downloaded app, you will see 4 options, Reboot, Recovery, Boot-loader, and Power Off. Just tap Recovery and your device will reboot in recovery mode automatically.

How to unlock my motorola milestone for free


You must have a Motorola unlock code to unlock your phone. If you have it:

1. Reboot your phone with an unaccepted SIM card in.
*If the display reads "Enter Special Code", enter the unlock code and press "OK"
*If the display does not read "Enter Special code":
2. Press and hold the * key until an entry box is displayed.
3. Type *, #, 3, 2, # and press "OK"
4. Enter your Motorola unlock code and press "OK."
5. Your Motorola phone should now display either "Completed" or
"Deleted"

My email will not open. I get an error message even after several reboots.


go to start, all programs, accecories, Command Prompt then, If u have windows vista right click command and prompt and run as administrator, if u have win XP or 7 just clikc on it.

then Type on the black screen chkdsk /f and reboot the computer wait for it to do a scann and check if this helps.

Rebooting the g1


red-menu-green should reboot the phone, or try removing the battery.

home-power to boot up in recovery

alt-l to see the menu

alt-w to wipe all account data, apps, sms, contact, etc. everything... from the phone a restore to factory defaults. Then set it up all over again.
