How can i update the ios 7

there are to guaranteed ways of doing this. You can connect your iPhone to your computer while iTunes is already open. When your device has been recognized it will automatically ask if you want to update. #2= go to the settings menu then software update, once you hit software update your iPhone will automatically search for the newest update for you device. REMINDER-- If your are not connected to wifi the download has a VERY good chance to download bad due to in and out coverage. If it does you will not be able to install the update correctly and will have to start again. BACK UP YOUR PHONE to iTunes before downloading and installing incase something happens and you have to reset your phone.

How to Unlock iPhone 4 Since Apple is selling unlocked iPhone 4s...

How to Unlock iPhone 4

Since Apple is selling unlocked iPhone 4s internationally, it is only the United States users who are still locked on AT&T network. So if you want to use your new iPhone 4 on networks other than AT&T, like T-Mobile for example, you can use this newly released Ultrasn0w 1.0 software to unlock your phone.
Simply follow the instructions posted below to unlock your iPhone 4 on iOS 4.0.1 / 4.0 on 01.59.00 baseband.
NOTE: T-Mobile US users will have to disable 3G by navigation to: Settings->General->Network and turning the "Enable 3G" switch to OFF before installing the ultrasn0w unlock.

How to: Jailbreak iPhone 4 on iOS 4.0.1:

Step 1: Unlocking requires that your phone is jailbroken on the latest firmware. Follow the complete guide posted here to jailbreak your iPhone 4 on iOS 4.0.1 / 4.0 using JailbreakMe 2.0.

How to: Unlock iPhone 4 (Any Baseband) on iOS 4.0.1:

Step 2: Once you are done with the jailbreak, you can now unlock your iPhone on any baseband using Ultrasn0w 1.0-1 from Cydia. To do this:
  • Start "Cydia" on your iPhone.
  • Touch on "Manage" tab on the bottom.
  • Now touch on "Sources" as seen in the screenshot below:
  • Touch on "Edit" and then on "Add". You will be prompted to enter a url source as seen in the screenshot below. Type "http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com" and touch on"Add Source" to add this repo if you haven't already.
Cydia will now automatically update your sources by following a series of automated steps.
  • After installation is completed. Search for "ultrasn0w 1.0-1" in Cydia and install this application. This app will automatically unlock your iPhone so that you can use it with any carrier.
Step 3: Now simply restart your iPhone and voila! you should now have a fully unlocked iPhone 4 !

Unlock iphone 3g running on firmware 3.1.2 with 05.12.01 baseband and bootloader 06.02

iOS 3.1.2 is obsolete already. You can still jailbreak and unlock with the latest iOS 4.0.1. You just need to update thru iTunes and read my guides on jailbreaking and unlocking on the following links:

Hi i updated my iphone software with 3.1.1 and now its already updated it says to connect with itunes but the itune shows to insert a compatible sim.pls help

You had an unlocked iPhone, but updating the iPhone through iTunes to 3.1 or 3.1.1 or 3.1.2 will REMOVE any and all locks. Now the phone is locked again to the original carrier, AT&T. You need to have someone unlock the phone for you again, and once it is unlocked, never update from iTunes!
Good luck! EJ

My iPhone 3G suddenly stopped working. The screen

In certain situations, an iPhone will automatically go into recovery mode after an update or restore issue. If your device is already in recovery mode, you can attempt to restore using iTunes.

Please follow steps on this link http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414

Note: Restoring your device will delete all the data from your iPhone or iPod touch, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. All iPhone or iPod touch settings are restored to their factory condition.

Iphone says no service

I'm thinking that you will have to reconnect to iTunes and reregister the phone or unlock/jailbreak it. Your choice.

SIM card not supported in itunes

what you need to do is put your iphone in recovery mode then wait until itunes reconizes your iphone. it should say itunes has detected a iphone in recovery mode choose restore and that should take care of the problem, (if you backed up your iphone b4 you updated it) and if that doesnt work your still in luck because the dev team put out a new jail for 2.2.1 n lower try jailbreaking it using quickpwn hope this helps

Computer shuts down when connecting iphone

Try the latest itunes:

http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/

- Quit iTunes if it's currently open.
- Visit Apple Downloads to see if there are newer versions of iPod Updater (this contains software for all models of iPod) and iTunes than what's installed on your computer.
- If there are newer updates available, download the Windows versions of the updates, then run the installers on your computer to install the updates.
- When it's finished, iTunes will already be updated, but you'll need to run the iPod Updater to update your iPod, so connect your iPod to your computer.
- On the Start menu, point to All Programs, point to iPod, point to iPod Updater, then click the latest iPod Updater.
- Click the Update button to update the software on your iPod (if the Update button appears unavailable, your iPod is already up to date).

If it still fails, remove the automatic restart from windows:

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> System
Go to Advanced
Under the Startup and Recovery section, click Settings...
Under System Failure un-check "Automatically restart"

Try pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the sametime for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
