Question about Network & Wireless Adapters
The notebook laptop produces sound only when it is connected to an external sound device such as a hoofer.
this is most likely a driver problem, and if so can be fixed by going to here and downloading the audio drivers and installing them. its a self installing file so once you download it just double click and follow the instructions. this should fix it.

Tips for a great answer:
Download the drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make sure you
select the model of your laptop and the XP or Vista version of the drivers you
that require and it matches the Windows version that is installed on your
laptop. Use this link to get to the Acer support: -
