For a manual go to miele.com.au/au/domestic/service/aftersales_operating instructions and download the book. Beware, its 80 pages.
Alternatively, just go to www.miele.au and search the site with your machine model number, it took me 30 seconds.
I would try to get the manual for you but I would need your Model Number for that so here is the next best thing. Go to this site, http://whirlpool.com/home.jsp then in links along the top you will see OWNERS CENTER if you hover above that tab you will see that Whirlpool has supplied us with all the information we could need. Just click on manuals and follow instructions.
Thumbs up if I helped you!!! Feedback is greatly appreciated!! Good Luck!
If it has a timer, then when the power was on again, it probably reset to auto, you need to reset it to manual cooking
Refer to your instruction book if you have one.
Otherwise it is a question of pressing 2 or more buttons at the same time on the timer to reset it to manual
This is how I reset my U1420NOGB/FD7907 NEFF double electric oven that I inherited also without an instruction book.
There are 4 buttons in a row and then a timer knob that moves left and right. The first button is black, second has an arrow,,third has an arrow and fourth a hand symbol on it.Hold down together, the black button and the arrow button next to it.Without releasing either, twist the timer knob clockwise(to the right)until correct time is showing.Do not release the other buttons at all ,until time is ok.If you miss correct time keep going ,dont go backwards. When time is correct,,release black and arrow buttons and auto will stop flashng ,and oven work.If auto doesn,t stop flashing at this point press the button with hand symbol (manual)on it once.
From the New World Web site:
"How do I set my timer/programmer into manual when it is set in auto?
(5 & 6 button versions)
On your timer there are two buttons, which read "cook time" and "ready time". If your timer is in automatic, you can return it to manual by pressing these two buttons simultaneously. REMEMBER - if your oven is in automatic it will not work until the time you set it to come on or if you return it to manual."
