your phone would not access the file and instead would show it as an unrecognised file type or close to that this is because .sis files are mainly used on symbian phones and the 6300 is a java phone. the 6300 can only work with .jar files and nothing else. you can still search the web for the .jar version of the .sis file you are trying to use and i hope you get just what you need. hope this helped you?
What is SIS file : Errors in your registry are one of the common causes for incorrect file associations on your windows system. It is highly recommended that you check your registry for file association errors (will also check for any other registry errors).
The SIS file type is primarily associated with 'Symbian' by Symbian. Application installation archive for most any device which uses the Symbian Operating System.
How to install sis file in mobile? : The installation kit (the SIS file) is removed once the installation is completed, or otherwise it would be a waste of memory space to keep it on the phone.
You will have to download it again or download it to PC first and then install it to the phone using the PC software and the USB cable or Bluetooth.
I feel that the .nth (Nokia THeme file) that you are trying to install is corrupt. And secondly generally all software that are pertaining to mobile phones have .sis extention so ther should be no confusion. Try downloading the file from a proper source/site and retry installing it. I feel it should work.
