Restore to factory settings
To restore the phone back to factory conditions, select Menu > Settings > Rest. factory sett. and from the following options:
Restore settings only -0 to reset all preference settings without deleting any personal data
Restore all - to reset all preference settings and delete all personal data, such as contacts, messages, media files and activation keys

If you're trying to scan for channels, this option should be found in your menu. I am not sure what your menu looks like, but usually there is a "Channels" setting in your menu. You can then select "Start Scan" or "Scan for Channels." You might also look for anywhere that says "Initial Setup" or somewhere in the menu that says "Add/Remove Channel." Try restoring factory settings, most Panasonic TV's have an R-Tune button which means if you enter a menu and press R-Tune it should restore all settings. If the TV cane on 1090p then it should change....

You'll need to go into service mode and do a factory reset.
To enter service mode you'll need to press these buttons on your remote in the following order:-
Standby-info-menu-mute-standby.You'll need to do it fairly quickly and be patient it doesn't always go into it first time,don't press and hold the buttons.
The service menu should appear on the screen.Use the up /down cursor to scan down to option number 12 (factory reset)and then press the right cursor wait will appear on the screen and the set will go to standby(don't worry this is normal)
Reboot the set and retune and all should be well
