- i already have, and they tould me it´s most probably something in my computer that is blocking the signal; if i connect with the ethernet cable it works normal and i have no problem. do you know anything besides firewall and cookies that can actually block the signal?

- i get connected to the router but i have no internet thru the router. i only have interner with the cable. i hope i'm being clear, my english is not the best!!!
my computer detects the router with a good signal and i can get connected to it, but when i open internet it's simply not availlable.

- sorry, i don't really know anything about routers, so i don't know what you are asking me; i don't know if the router is connecting to DNS servers. the only thing i know is that inside the customized configuration i have notice that in the Primary DNS Server and Secondary DNS it only says 0.0.0.0 (both); is that normal? i've used a the setup wizard since the first time and it worked for a while, and that's what i'm doing now too, but it doesn't work.
thanks

Can you type your routers address in your internet browser (refer to your manual eg 192.168.2.1) and check to see if your router is connecting to your ISP servers (Primary DNS Server and Secondary DNS Servers), it will display noughts if not; various numbers starting with no. 8.

- Sorry ignore last post youve already said it's ok with a cable, are you saying you can't connect to the internet wirelessly or even get into the router, but you can get on internet and in router with a network cable?

- If you have all noughts in the I.P and DNS address it is not connected to the isp's server, if you have the settings use the wizard and put them in manually.

I would suggest you contact your ISP and make sure that there is not a problem on that end.

Try to run a search by going to Start>Search and search for 'Hotfix' hotfix was a gateway update that had some not-so-great side effects and by running a search and tracking down the file(s) and deleting them should give you full or at least partial internet access. This may work for all routers, but it has 30% success rate. Good luck, and find some other forums to see deeper into the hotfix situation.

my blitzz bwa611 did the same thing, one day after 2 years working perfectly, it started blocking my access to the internet. all the proper lights on the dsl modem and on the router are lit just like when it was working, and my firewall lists number of packets sent and recieved, but i cannot get any webpager to show on the screen. its as if the computer is working on the internet at someone elses bequest, and i have no access or control. i wiped my harddrive clean wrote zeros to it reinstalled everything, but no help. i just cannot break through to the internet through this router, though i can install an internet connection on the computer itself without the router in the system and regain access to the internet. i had this same problem, when i first bought the router, and it continued til my computer savy son visited and installed it for me, completely disregarding all the nonworking instructions and relieing on his own knowledge, and had it working in ten minutes, after i'd tried for months to make it work using the instructions supplied with the router. unfortunately he is a thousand miles away and no visits planned soon. i can build computers and built my presemnt one but have no idea how to correct this, but it seems to me eddye is having the same problem. i know the dns address eddye is getting 0.0.0.0 is wrong the correct default dns address should be in his installation paperwork, and possibly on the modem itself. i cannot remember the default number, but surely someone hwo reads this will, its 1.168. something i believe.
