I upgraded my hp omnibook 6100 from xp to windows vista. now it tells me that there is no audio device installed. is there a driver i can download for my laptop that is compatible with windows vista?

I had the same problem with my HP when l put vista on it and overcame that problem with using my XP driver. It worked for me no harm in trying your XP driver.

    Slow Performance

well there are some can upgrade :
1 your ramm-if supported by the mainboard
2your videocard-if supported by the mainboard
    3if you really want,the processor.
I really dont know the exact costs, but if I were you I would let it like it is or sell it and buy a new one..worth more than to make this upgrade.
