Try codes 1614 or 1714. If that doesnt work, I highly recommend you get the Philips Universal Remote. It is inexpensive and comes with all the codes. The button layout makes more sense than some of the others as well.
I have the same problem with the Cox Cable remote attempting to make it recognize my Emerson model LC320EM8 HD TV. The booklet with the remote shows 20+ codes for Emerson TVs and I tried them all, I then tried the channel up/down search, to no avail. Is there a code for this TV, or do I have to buy another Radio Shack universal remote like I had to do with my other TV home theater system?
I have had on order since December 2007 the Akai replacement remote #WIR3500001-EQ01 the Akai TV/DVD combo model #CFTD2011. I called each month for 5 months, being told each time that it was on backorder. A few days ago, I received a letter in the mail stating that this remote is no longer made and is not available.
I too have tried universal remotes without any luck. If anyone has a resolution, it would be greatly appreciated.
