No sound is coming out from the speakers an we only owned it for about 3 months.

Please check all the cords associated with the speakers (the one to the computer, the one to the power outlet, ect) and make sure they are all plugged in correctly. Next make sure you have turned the speakers on, I dont know how many times I have thought my speakers were bad and I had turned off the power to them. Next in the lower right corner there may be a speaker looking thing, double click it and make sure you are not muted (can also be found in control pannel (sound and audio devices). Next try in the control pannel, and sound and audio. Make sure the output is set properly. I have seen some computers set to a digital coax out, when plugged in with a standard mini jack. If this is the case change the digital coax to the analog mini jack. Also make sure that it is not selecting only the front port.

Hope one of these helps

I hear a sound of like a fan from myspeakers

Double check that you have the lead wires connected to the properly sockets.
Next, make sure the speakers aren't too close to some other electronic
device that could distort the sound.

I had my computer speakers since 2005 i had windows xp and i just got my computer fix and now i vista home premium and i went too the media player and i played some music and next time i played it didnt...

Is your pc volume turned up, if so you say you had your pc fixed did they do an upgrade or anything like that if so then they may have altered your sound settings or not even installed the sound drivers.
first check that the sound is on and the speakers are plugged into the correct socketon the pc,
If this is ok then check to make sure your drivers are nstalled and using the sound card you have installed you will have to goto control panel then double click on the sound button check to make sure making sure your speakers are enabled, And check your properties you shouls see your sound card listed in the properties section.

Cant get speakers to work

if it is a hardware problem

check to see there is no red X through the speaker this means it Muted if so double click the red X and you will be turning them back on

turn off your computer
1. plug them in most pc's its the green female is the speaker out.
2. do you have power attached to the speakers if you got a power supply or power cord plug, make sure that it is pluged in.
3.turn on your computer.
when you see your desktop see if a speaker is present on the right hand
side of the task bar your in luck

If it is a Software proublem

1.right click on my computer and click on properties.
then click on hardware, then device manager

2.expand sound, video and game controllers the + sign next to the speaker

4. if you notice a yellow exclamation point on sound, video and game
controllers that usually means it's a driver or software
you might need to reinstall the sound cards driver

No sound

If you have verified your speakers are getting power and the patch cable is plugged into the correct source output from your sound card then check your WAV and Master volume located in your task bar. Double click the speaker Icon and verify the sliders are up or they are not muted. If they are fine go to your my computer icon, right click and go to properties. From here go to the hardware tab and then device manager. Once device manager opens up see if there is a red X next to your sound card located in Sound, Video and game controllers. If there is you will need to double click on the soundcard and then click reinstall driver.

Even if there is no red X you may want to update your driver regardless.

I have no audio device can not turn speakers on

Good day heigei, hi if you turn on the speakers but no ON lights came on, the problem is your Speakers' power supply stage, either a fuse opens (most likely) or something got burnt from the plug to the transformer, then to the rectifier diodes (got shorted then fuse opens) or to the regulator section. check also the power switch for poor contacts, of course you may need to open the speakers, If by any chance you hear something like hum.... check for open signal wire, check the IC amplifier also, a bad IC amplifier produce no sound or produce a loud humming/cracking sound. If you have no idea of what im talking about, have it checked by a technician. thats it.
