Bad Digital module. It is a small metal can that lives next to the tuner.
I think it's about $75.

I am trying to get the aux outlets to work on the tv how do i do that?the universal remote i have is not putting the tv on that channel and i have the red white and yellow jacks installed in fron of the tv...

Try using the channel buttons on the front of the tv to go below channel 1. If this doesn't work you will need the original remote or you could try a different universal remote. You can use an RF modulator, available at walmart or radio shack, to feed the signal through the antenna jack on the back of the set.
I hope this will help you.

On swiching on my sansui 21 inch tv it is producing a sound gradually increasing in intensity and the screen is blank(black). any action through remote control is not being executed. wat is the problem

You are losing power in the vertical section. This will start with bad capacitors. Pay attention to capacitor (locations) C515, 25 volt@10MF, C423,50volts@4.7Mf, C407,35volts@ 100Mf, and C406,50 volts @1Mf.Please pay attention to any 50 volt 1 MF caps not mentioned. These are located near the audio IC, they are very small as the one mentioned earlier. Also, resolder the vertical IC, as there are rings around the pins at the bottom of the board. Start with these procedures and the picture will return and then sound will be stable. Be very careful when you you remove the capacitors. The traces are very small and delicate and you can destroy the TV. Once again....please very careful when you replace these components. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support.

What if the universal remote I have, does not list "Sansui" as one of brands. Will I still be able to use that remote?

Try the codes for Orion as well as Sansui. You must get the codes from the maker of the universal remote.
I hope this helps.
