Question about Remington Titanium Microflex R-950 Electric Shaver

Open Question

Slipping Head After the first cleaning, one of the heads slips, starts making a grinding noise, and doesn't turn. It's always the same head, and needs to be pushed down to seeminly make contact with the shaft inside? This has happened on two seperate units.

It sounds like either the heads are packed full of hair particles and the blades can not turn OR one of the blades has been damaged and is causing it to lock up.
Try removing all of the blades and cleaning them thoroughly and also insoect the blades, particularly the one that moves when you turn it on

This problem is because the shaver has not been thoroughly cleaned. There is a build-up of hair particles where the screen snaps onto the shaver which is preventing it from latching into place. Clean it thoroughly and it should be fine

If you are certain that it is thoroughly cleaned and still have problems, your screen is worn and will need replaced. You will find replacements for model F4790 at See link below

Philips pt920 makes clicking noise but doesn't 'spin'. When turned on there is a clicking noise. The 3 rod like things which normally spins no longer spins. The head should be working as its removed.

If you flip the head up and the shaver will run without the blades engaged, there is a problem with your blades. The may be installed incorrectly or damaged. Check that they are installed correctly using the video below

When removed, each cutter should turn freely inside its corresponding comb. If one or more do not turn, there is damage and will need replaced. Replacements for model PT920 can be found at at the link below

How to clean a remington EP6010 epilator?

CLEANING THE EPILATION HEAD Ensure the epilator is turned off and disconnected from the mains. Press the head release button/s and open the head assembly. (Diagram G) Turn the head assembly upside down. Using your thumbs, push the small sides together and push the epilation head upwards. This releases the curved epilation head. Brush the accumulated hair from the tweezers by turning the barrel manually. NOTE: The body of the epilator is not washable. Do not submerge in water.
TO REMOVE RESIDUE To remove residue from the stainless steel tweezers, dampen a swab with alcohol. Gently run the swab over the tweezers until the residue has been removed.

The cutting unit will not turn or when it does it is slow and the unit makes funny noises

The blades are probably clogged solid with a pasty mixture of hair particles and skin oils. You will need to try to clean them but it is difficult on Arcitec models because the blades can not be removed from the head assembly

If replacements are needed, you will find them at See link below
