Airport brick after prematurely disconnecting the airport express during firmware update, i found myself with nothing but a brick to throw through windows, although apple would love every bit of this, and microsoft might like it too, on the other hand i feel ripped off, because this is basically a rewrite fix. where can i jump start the power, to rewrite the memory?

SOURCE: New Apple Airport Express Base station blinking amber light

Using the Airport utility on your macbook (located in your Utilities folder) will tell you what the conflict is.....most likely you have DHCP issue or the network is at the incorrect setting.
The wizard in the utility will tell you what you should fix.

Where can i download the firmware for my tablet irulu 10.1 "

Only when a brand like irulu offers an update of the firmware, you can download firmware. But I think now you ask for firmware you even can't use new firmware. I think you have bricked your tablet. But to load firmware, your tablet needs to work correct. If during an update (or while rooting) something goes wrong, you can't put in new firmware, because the tablet does not know what to do with the USB connection or with the memory card holder. Only a workshop with the correct tools can put in some firmware.

As soon as irulu has an update of the firmware they will notify registered users they can download the firmware and they also provide a manual, how to do the update. There are always warnings, if something goes wrong during an update, you can end with a bricked tablet. But if it is a regular update, they also tell you who to contact if something goes wrong.
Try to fine a certified irulu repair centre and ask them for help. (and what it will cost)

Can I down load any thing to get a better wire less connnection, it worked in the beginning but not now any more i have a "AirPort Extreame" wire less router thanks Alex keller

The first choice for AirPort Extreme base stations in this instance is to look at the firmware. Generally, using the most recent firmware version is the preference, but in some cases actually going to an older version may increase stability. Launch the AirPort Extreme Admin Utility (in Applications/Utilities); then select the appropriate Base Station in the left-hand pane. The firmware version currently installed will appear on the right-hand side.

The current version is at least 5.7. However, many folks have corrected dropout issues with their AirPort Extremes by reverting to Version 5.5.1. This link will take you to the download page for 5.5.1. Download the file, and then use the Updater application to install it. A caution in this approach is that you may lose some features that perhaps you had been using, but the rate of success for this approach is significant. You can revert back to your current version (be sure to write it down before you change it) if you wish.

NOTE that you MUST be sure that you are working with the firmware for the AirPort Extreme, and NOT the firmware for the AirPort Express. They are not the same.

Hope that's helpful.

I am using the airport express to play itunes through my stereo only. I unplugged the unit to move it to a more convenient place and now I cannot to get it to work. It was working well before. I...

From my reading at the Apple support web site, it appears that you may need to download the latest version of the Airport Utility in order to get around this issue.
Additionally, Apple has just recently come up with an update to the firmware for this device.
Try downloading the latest version of the Airport Utility (Mac or Windows) and see if that doesn't resolve the issue.
After installing the latest version of the Airport Utility, try to connect to the Airport Express. If that is successful with the new version, click the "Manual Setup" button to display the "Summary" page for the Airport Express.
Next to the entry for "Version:" there should be a button to press to upgrade the firmware to the latest version (7.5.2). Perform the upgrade by following the on screen directions.
After the upgrade, again attempt to connect to the Airport Express using the Airport Utility. This should work as expected.
Before attempting to use the AirTunes (recently renamed "AirPlay"), make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes installed.

Camera was disconnect from pc during firmware update and now it will not turn on

On most cameras, when a firmware update is interrupted, you usually end up with an expensive "brick". E-mail the techs at the support section of the Olympus website and see if they have a work-around for you.

Apple Airport Express not working

You need to use the AirPort utility, which will walk through the setup and configuration of it. You were already on the right track to get it going. If it mentions there is an update available for it, though, do the update first.

Psp Is Retarded

You most likely 'bricked' your PSP.

You can NOT under ANY circumstances disconnect the power source of the device you are upgrading the firmware in while it's installing!

Your PSP is most assuredly DEAD. You'll need to contact SONY for support if it's still under warranty. I wouldn't recommend telling them that you disconnected the battery during a firmware update. They'll most likely tell you that you'll have to buy a new one.

Instead, tell them that it suddenly quit working and shut down in the middle of a firmware update.

The choice is yours. But it's definitely dead of you did exactly what you described.

Sorry... There is nothing that anyone here can do to help you with that one.

That just sucks.

Vista compatibility

Vista has very little drivers for equipment sad but true. However in your case you can use Airport Extream. However here is what an apple tech had to say: If you are a Vista user and you don't have access to a Mac, you will not be able to get this working. Apple hasn't yet stirred itself to release a version of Airport Express Assistant that works with Windows Vista - you can't set it up via Windows' own networking software and nor does the Airport Admin Utility work under Vista. It installs and you can run it, but it returns error messages if you try and connect to the Airport Express. I had to use a Mac to get it working, though once it's set up as a client to your existing wireless network, you can stream from iTunes on a Vista PC to the Airport Express. The documentation is very poor, too, with this: I had to do extensive Googling first to track down the fact that I couldn't set it up with Vista and second to identify the device's IP address and default password. Having said that, it is a breeze to set up via a Mac and works like a dream witih Vista once it's up and running. But don't bother if you have Vista until Apple updates the software.
