Question about PANDIGITAL (DPF802) Digital Picture Frame

1 Answer

I have a Samsung Digital picture frame spf-85h I've loaded the picture mostly through scanning. Several of the picture are sideways or upside down. They were not loaded this way. I've corrected each one yet it won't save the change. As soon as the slideshow starts again the picture are back sideways. Help

I have the same problem with a Samsung SPF-85V. I just want to copy and store my photos that are stored in my computer into the digital frame, and the owner's manual is useless in explaining this.

Some pictures are sideways or upside down

I have one but have hardly used it. I expect it has it's own brand of intelligence and is deciding for itself whether something is portrait or landscape based on shading or colours or some other sort of white-man's magic.

I seem to remember my photo frame has a rotate facility. At this stage I can only assume you will need to position the pictures within the album after it has been loaded and hope the device will remember your settings.
The instruction manual might be more informative.

Why do my pictures come out sideways

Turn them around in your laptop first and then transfer them. It is the screen resolution that is not compatible.

Once you have the box connected with the usb cable to the computer, you have to tilt it towards connect to pc. You might have to do this a couple of times the picture on the display should change to a usb cable. Now if you go to my computer you will see where it says pan digital. Here is where you can add the pictures. I just did add pictures. If you want the pictures in a certain order you will have to name them otherwise there are displayed in alphabetical order. I found this after I loaded everything and wanted them in a specific order. Right now I am trying to add sound. I see that there is a speaker but not sure how to add sound.

Picture won't stay turned

You would need to correct the orintation using a computer then reload the pictures in the frame. The frame is reading those pictures as how they were originally created.

I had the same problem. I use kodak easyshare software and load my pics on to that. Then put all the pics you want in the picture tray. Have your frame plugged into the computer with your usb cord. Then go up to File menu and drop down to "copy to". On my computer it is Folder "E" which is the drive the frame is connected to. Then pick from the Resize drop down menu " best for picture frame', then click copy. You will see the program loading all the pics to E drive. When done, unplug usb cord and you will see it loading on your pic frame. As easy as this is to do, I found it frustrating as well, but when it works, it is easy. Hope this helps
