Question about Sony MZ-RH910 Personal MiniDisc Player

Open Question

Failed saving of recording

Recorded philosophy lecture of series now showing Blankdisc. I saw it recording from time to time, as far as I could tell. I saw it begin the saving process TOC and presumed it would go on to Save Data as usual. But now it just shows as Blankdisc. I presume most of the recording is actually on there, just inaccessible to the TOC? I have not recorded anything further on that disc so it is in the same state. Colud anyone retrieve most of the talk and first few questions which would be up to the last ten mins? (The final questions were silly and not important.) I din;t quite catch it all on paper. Thank you very much, Camilla

Sharp MD MS 702 shows sound is being recorded but on playback shows blank disc, what could be the problem?

That does not sound good. Being optimistic, though, what happens if you record something and then finalize it? Will it play then?
Will it play a previously recorded MD?

I recorded analog music on how can i transfer analog music to pc and chanege it to digital music on memory of pc.

Your analogue music will have been recorded digitally by your machine.

Digital transfers are only possible from the host pc/Mac to the player and not the other way around.

But you can transfer the audio signal by connecting the headphone output to the Mac audio input; look into the Minidisc player menu and you can set the headphone socket to "line" which bypasses the volume control circuits for better quality, your computer will then re-convert the analogue input into a digital signal with a small loss of quality.

Sharp MD MT-80H(S) not playing sony minidisc 80

I had a similar problem after not using player for several months - "Can't read" message displayed every time I put a recorded minidisc in the player. Seem to have solved it (maybe only temporarily) by opening the player, inserting little finger in at the righthand front and sliding movable mechanism from side to side. It looks to slide on a bar which had maybe picked up dirt or damp. Also tried blowing a warm hairdryer into the slot for a minute or two (take disc out first!) to remove any damp. Working OK at the moment.
