Is this a karcher hds unit?

There is a device by the air intake that looks like a semi-circle. This adjusts the air flow to the burner chamber. You can adjust this according in order to get rid of the smoke but you have to get it right in order not to have to much air in order to blow out the flame.

If this does not work you may have to clean out the fuel injector and housing. Then if it continues you may have to clean the exterior of the coil.

If you are to clean the exterior of the coil make sure you take the cover off from the bottom three bolts (bolt on to base of machine) and not the three bolts at the top of the housing(were fuel injector is). You can use a karcher product called RM 81 which acts as a degreaser and pressure wash the coil( making sure all electrics are covered up).

I have come accross this a few times as the injector sprays diesel on the coil if the air flow is not fixed correctly and then the smoke you are seeing is the machine burning off the diesel that is on the coil.

1) Remove spark plug, ground the plug wire if possible
2) Make sure ignition is in the OFF position
3) NO choke
4) Wide open throttle
5) Shop rag over spark plug hole
6) Pull until no liquid comes out of plug hole
7) Re-install spark plug
8) Continue to pull recoil with throttle open, NO choke
9) Engine will start slowly with huge amounts of smoke, run until the smoking stops.

How do i fix smoke coming off my car?

Don't drive the car. With white smoke, coming out of the exhaust, you must have blown your head gasket. It will also evaporate the cooling fluid, making the engine run without cooling.
Look for a certified repair shop, to get this repaired.

When we started using toro leaf blower this year the extension cord started smoking and the plastic started to melt. Is it the leaf blower or extension cord that's faulty. Both are fairly new.

You must use at least a 12 guage extention cord . Your current cord mostlikely can not handle those amount of amps for long duration of time.

Where is the place to put transmission oil

The transmission fluid goes in the same tube that holds the dip stick that you check the fluid levels with. You will need a funnel, and be sure to use only manufacturer recommended fluid in your vehicle. Be careful not to over fill. Ensure the Galant is at operating temperature by driving it for about 10 minutes. 2: Open the hood of the Galant and locate the automatic transmission fluid reservoir and dipstick on the driver's side of the engine. The dipstick is labeled "ATF" and is red. 3: Pull the dipstick out of the reservoir, wipe it clean with a rag and reinsert it. Remove it once more and take the measurement of the current fluid level. Do not add any fluid if the fluid is already at the "Full" line; overfilling the reservoir can damage the transmission. If the measurement is between the "Full" and "Add" lines or below the "Add" lines, then continue to Step 4: Insert a funnel into the reservoir and pour a small amount of transmission fluid into the container. Check the fluid levels again by removing the funnel and inserting the dipstick into the reservoir. Pull the dipstick back out and read the fluid level on the dipstick. Continue this process until the fluid is at the "full" line. If you would like to do a transmission filter kit I have found a site with full color pictorial and instructions. Pretty handy!!!

How to check trans fluid 96 volvo 960

Look way down just behind the throttle body intake assembly, low on the drivers side near the firewall and below the brake fluid container. You'll see a square yellow dipstick which doesn't have a handle on it. It which accepts a 3/8 inch drive extension: stick the socket extension on it, reach down and depress the hold-down clip, and pull it out. It is sometimes easier to reach from the side of the car, reaching down low. Or just reach down and pull it out. You'll need a long funnel to put fluid in. Be sure that the car has been driven 15 minutes or so, stop, move to and stop in each gear about 5 seconds, and back to park. Check fluid level. Don't overfill by even a small amount.

Engine blowing thick smoke from exhaust

It's likely that the bad bearings and resultant oil seepage from the bad turbo caused oil to pool up in the intercooler piping (this is common). With a new turbo in there, you won't have further oil seepage, so the remainder of the oil in the piping should burn off. Over the next little while, you should see the amount of smoke coming out continue to diminish. If it does not, and is still smoking in a week or two, post back up on here and we'll take it from there.
