My LG phone keeps deleting messages. My message inbox is always quite full but it seems to be deleting just one message and then when i turn the phone back on it will come up again. turn it off and back on and it won't be there. I'm very confused. It's done this once before. Also whenever I'm on my voicemail it won't let me delete messages after I've listened to the.I keep pressing 5 which is the delete option and it just doesn't delete them. Very confused Also my phone seems to be going straight to message bank alot without even showing me that I have 1 missed call or anything.

I had this same problem. You need to delete your outbox. When your on the screen that says inbox/drafts/outbox etc. the outbox doesn't say that there is anything in it but it automatically saves all your text messages. You need to delete the ones in your outbox.
I have this same problem, unfortunatly I do not have a solution but I hope someone will, I took it back to the store and he said i needed to deleted messages from my outbox etc so it wasnt full, this solved my problem for a while but now it is reucurring every time my phone turns on and off even without any messages in my inbox. I would leave my phone on as to avoid the problem but it keep turning itself off also. Very frustrating.
The k700i internal memory isn't very large. When your memory is full, you have to delete the messages. You could delete pictures also as they take alot of room. So do songs and vids.
If you want to save them to your Sim card follow these instructions.
-Save messages to Sim
That should do it.
My LG Rumor won't accept any text messages if my inbox is full. Try deleting all of your messages. Then you can turn your phone on "Auto Delete" so it will automaticly delete some messages if your inbox becomes full.
Restart the phone, e.g turn it on and off and then try again... Sometimes to delete a message, actually go into the message then press delete, it doesnt always work if you go to the inbox itself and select a message and delete :)
Unfortunately, the texts are stored on the internal memory of the phone in a special place just for text messages, and the limit of the inbox is going to max out at around 40 or 50 texts. Just delete them from the phone, or if you want to save them, you can always email them to yourself from the phone with the forward option, and put in your email address instead of a phone number. You will be charged the standard messaging rate if you dont have a text plan on your phone though.
sometimes on my Env when i am trying to delete my text messages the "okay" button will not work. this happens only when i am trying to delete a text message. the solution i have found is quite simple. just turn the phone off completely and then turn it back on in a few minutes. if this does not work then try removing the battery when you turn the phone off. this always seems to make the button work and i am able to delete the messages.
