Hi
Downloading Music to your MP3 Player

1...You must download and install Windows Media Player 11 on your computer.
NOTE...Some older MP3 players will not work with Windows Media Player 11 or Windows 7 with Windows Media Player 11.
If this happens to you, then you will have to uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and install Windows Media Player 10.
2...After you have downloaded and installed Media Player on your computer.
3...Open Media Player on your computer.
4...Install all your music into Media Player that you want to install on your MP3 player from your CD's.
5...Plug in your MP3 player to the computer using your Data/Sync cord, be sure that Windows Media Player is on.
6...Media player should recognize the MP3 player and sync with it.
7...After it is sync'ed with the computer, you can add the music you have installed into Windows Media Player to your MP3 Player.
Please take time to rate me thumbs up.

My xp is showing like this you may be a victim of software counterfeiting this copy of windows didnot pass genuine window validation how can i solve this problem please suggest me

I am presuming that you were trying to install Windows Media Player 11 or such like Microsoft manufactured Program. If it so, you need Windows Activation Patch to validate your Windows Copy as Original One. You can download it online or to have the activation patch from me, please reply to my post mentioning your E-mail ID so that I can mail it directly to you.

Media player 11 is part of Vista,It is installed with vista and cannot be installed without reinstalling vista,You don't need to validate media player, you only need to validate vista,That can only be done through Microsoft.

To obtain windows media player 10, you will have to uninstall windows media player 11...the only way you can uninstall is if you have windows xp...To uninstall windows media player 11, click on start, control panel, add and remove programs, locate the windows media player 11 application then click uninstall...Once you uninstall the program restart your computer....You should have windows media player 10 now...
I hope that helps

WMP 11 will _ONLY_ install on a "genuine" copy of Windows. The only ways out of the "PROTECTION" error: * start in Safe Mode, and use System Restore to go "back" in time to a date before the problem started; * reinstall Windows from *GENUINE* media.

You are between a rock and a hard place, if your win software is illigitimate then you would need to purchase a genuine copy.
Take care in your selection, Ebay would probably be your best bet.

The instructions in these pages, which are largely links, pertain to Windows Media Player 10 and 11 only.

Windows Media Player is made by Microsoft. The general help page for Windows Media Player is:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.mspx

Through this link, you can enter a variety of search terms that will help you find what you are looking for (exs.: “add files to my mp3 player”; “delete files from my mp3 player,” etc.)

Important Vocabulary:

The code word for “mp3 player” in Windows Media Player is “DEVICE” or “portable device”

The code word for adding files is “SYNC,” “syncing,” or “synchronizing”

The code word for copying files from CD is “RIP,” or “ripping”

The code word for files stored on both My Computer and my Mp3 player (when it is connected to the computer) is “LIBRARY”

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/wmp10/harrison_wmp10.mspx

To add files (SYNC) to your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/faq/sync.mspx

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/knowledgecenter/mediaadvice/0085.mspx#EDF

To delete files from your mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

My Directions:

1. Connect your mp3 player to the computer

2. Open Windows Media Player

3. Click on the icon of your Mp3 player on the left-hand side of the Library

4. Click on the Songs, Tracks, or other Music Folder

5. Find a song or songs that you want to delete

6. Left-click the song once to highlight it

7. Press the “Delete” button on your computer’s keyboard

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 10:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/windowsmediaplayer/getstarted/ripcd.mspx

To copy (RIP) files from CD to Mp3 player using Windows Media Player 11:

WMP 11 validation issue

Windows Media Player is a feature of the Windows operating system and cannot be removed entirely. However, depending upon which version of the Player and Windows that you are using, you might be able to roll back to the version of the Player that was previously on your computer. The procedure varies depending upon which version of the Player you are running.

If your computer is running Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows XP SP2, Windows 2000 SP3, or Windows 2000 SP4, you can use the Set Program and Access Defaults feature to remove links to the Player on your computer. Note that this does not remove the Windows Media Player software. To remove access to the Player, do the following: 1.
In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
2.
Click the Set Program and Access Defaults button, and then choose a configuration (such as "Non-Microsoft" or "Custom").

Can i install Windows Media Player 11 without checking my Windows Geniune verification?

Your friend will have to settle for an older version of Media Player, or download a copy using an internet connection and a his valid copy of Windows XP. The software you downloaded is single-user type, which Microsoft authorized for the computer you downloaded it with; and won't install onto another machine.
