If you check 'My Computer,' you will find the camera shown as an external drive (assuming that you have connected it to the system) and if you 'open' or explore that drive, you will find folders, sometimes nested, and at the lowest level, there will be your files.
If you don't recognize the extension (it should be .mpg), hovering over an icon will give you a thumbnail description and title of the file.
You can cut, copy, move, etc. these files just as any others and place the file you have chosen in any folder on your hard drive where you want it.
The camera's memory is essentially an external flash drive and can be handled the same.

I dnt have the installation cd of my digital camera......model no.fe 210 i want to transfer images from camera to my pc.....i have usb bt its not happening.what should i do.....

Simplest solution is to transfer via card reader as no software is required. You have not mentioned what computer O/S but download Picasa free from Google and it will find all your images and you can edit etc from it is a great free product. Also you should be able to find and download the correct drivers on line for this camera.

Please make sure that you've installed the drivers for the camera and it's connected properly and is switched on.

Transfer pictures to memory card

You should just transfer the pictures to your computer (Then back to the card if you want). I don't think there is a copy to card function. However, internal memory and card memory are separate, so there's no risk of overwriting them, either. Just don't delete them.

Vidoe transfers

It cannot be done, the camera only recognizes videos taking with the camera and has not been erased. One transfer off camera and erased, no way to access the video file.
