How do you program Quasar vv2000 without remote?

I have lost the remote and I cannot program the vv2000. All I get is "line", "Ch 3" and "Ch 13". I have unplugged the ac for a week or so but the initial logic has not reset. Any suggestions?

buy a $6 universal remote. You cannot program it without a remote that can get you to the setup screen.
