Question about Microsoft Windows Live Messanger

1 Answer

IM keeps logging me out.

When I log into my account it brings up a message from a long tim ago and when I click to exit it my account gets logged off. If I leave it I can talk to one person, but if I move the chat I get logged off.

Hi,

1. Hit "run" in the start menu
2. Type "regedit"
3. Open "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger"
4. Delete the folder called MSN Messenger
5. After this MSN Messenger Live will login as normal.

or...

If you're not comfortable editing the registry, you can run this small reg. file which does the same thing as posted above:
Remove Messenger Settings

Hope this helps

I need your help to access my facebook page.

Point your web browser at http://www.facebook.com

If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the down-pointing triangle in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."

If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.

If you're getting an error message, what does it say?

I want to open two accounts of yahoo messenger at the same time..i need two ym windows to log in..how can i have multiple window of yahoo messenger if my OS is windows 7?

I'm not sure if Yahoo messenger has the specific ability to log in to two accounts simultaniously. If you don't mind using another client to log into your Yahoo account, there are a lot of third party messaging clients (Trillian, Pidgin, Spark, Meebo, etc) that will let you log into multiple accounts at once. These will also let you sign into other protocols such as AOL IM, MSN messenger, ICQ, IRC, Yahoo IM, and several others.
If you're open to trying a new client, I'd recommend trying Pidgin: http://www.pidgin.im/download/
Its probably one of the easier clients to learn to use.
If installing new software is an issue, use one instance of Yahoo Messenger and a web client like https://imo.im/
Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks.

How come my gf cant log on to skype with an administrator account but can log on using a guest account when signing into windows.

Signing in to skype requires changing some data on your computer (minor skype files on preferences, remembering your log-in, etc.) Depending on the version of windows, you will not be able to sign in

I want to create new skype id

If you are logged in, sign out of Skype using File | Sign Out. If you are not logged in, you can immediately click on the link "Don't have a Skype Name". Follow the on-screen wizard to finish setting up a new account.
Hope this helps you out.

Recently when I try to logon my yahoo messenger acount, it keeps saying ''your account has been locked''! What does it mean? Maybe someone is trying to steal my password? Thanks for the help

Hi, locked accounts are quitecommon with Yahoo! To solve this problem, do the following.

1) Close and exit from Yahoo! Messenger completely
2) Log on to Yahoo! Web Messenger
3) Log off Yahoo! Web Messenger
4) Your account is now unlocked
5) Reboot your computer
6) Yahoo! Messenger should now work as expected

If this helped you then please help me by voting kindly, thank you

Yahoo messenger keeps logging me off

It is possible that someone else is trying to log onto your account from an other computer. As well as if you have yahoo messenger on your cell phone and you log into that you will also be disconnected from the one on your comptuer.
