Use a memory card and a generic USB memory card reader. If windoz does not fix their USB driver problems soon, everyone will be running mac OS on their PCs. Apple has already started using pentium processors. It won't be much longer =]

Can I use a 8gig SDHC card in my panasonic nv-ds65 ?

The NV-DS65 uses SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work in this camcorder. You need to use SD cards 2GB and smaller.

Lost camera's (panasonic nv-gs140) original Cd , have new computer and need to install it to transfer video clips. Where can I download appropriate software?

You do not need the CD that came along with the camera to access the video clips, connect the camera to the USB port in your computer using the cable that came along with the package. You can download the additional editing utilities that was available on the CD from the following link

We would like to import footage from the Panasonic NV-GS 400 digital video camera onto a MAC - is this possible

Yes, you can transfer the videos from the Camcorder to the Mac Computer.

Connect the Camcorder to the Mac Computer using i.LINK/Firewire or USB cable.

I suggest that you use the i.LINK/Firewire cable to connect it to the Computer. The i.LINK port is also called IEEE 1394 or Firewire port. An i.LINK is a black D shaped connector with 4 or 6 pins. The type of cable to be used will depend on the i.LINK port of your Computer.

After connecting the Camcorder to the Mac Computer, open the iMovie Application to capture the Videos from the Camcorder and follow the on-screen instruction to complete the transfer of the videos.

Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a Panasonic NV-DS33 camera. How can I link

You should have a serial cable that cam with the unit to plug into USB. It will reconize the device and open a separate window which you will need to find your device(camera) and open the folder and you have all of your photos.
