Question about Kenmore Elite 45986 Front Load Washer
Washing machine is started by selecting normal wash but won't complete a full wash, it starts, runs for a few minutes then beeps and flashes codes H then F. The add a garmet is lit along with the wash light, the only way we can restart the wash is to hit cancel/pause to start it up again.
Then, after a few more minutes it does the same thing with the H then F flashing and we have to do the whole cancel/pause thing and start.
Then it will say suds and we have to hit the rinse/spin button to finish.
Its a error code for not enough water fast enoght or no water. check fill bibs are on and screens inside fill valve are clean if ok . make sure you do not have steel branded flow retrickers fill hoses it if so replace hoses. washer has to get a amount of water fast or it will code out

Hello zabbster - Typically the DR or DO error code indicates that the door switch is not closed. Make sure that the door lock is completely closed. If the door is closed, make sure the door latch is not broken. If the latch is broken, you may possibly need to replace the door lock switch.
