Question about Mintek DTV-263 26 in. TV/DVD Combo
The remote only functions for the on/off mode. Cannot access menu, change channels, adjust volume, etc. Cannot manually utilize these features either on the TV itself. It is "stuck" on one channel and at one volume level.
According to Mintek support you should unplug your set for 30 minutes which is a reset/rebooting process. Then plug it in and hold the DVD eject button for 5 seconds [at least]. The DVD should eject unless there is another problem. If it doesn't eject then call Mintek support at 877-646-8358 for help. They told me you have to send the TV to them and they'll send a new one. If you have to do that then make sure you tell them you want your DVD returned when they get it out. Good luck.

Check out my solution here:
It's for the 37" version, but also works for the 26" TVs with little variation.
Hope it helps,
