Vivicam 6200w camera - the buttons appear stuck and cannot be pressed very easily

I had the same problem when I returned from holiday. I thought it was probably from the salt in the sea water so I soaked the camera in some tepid plain water for a long time and it did improve a lot. still not perfect but certainly very useable.

I would say you spilled something on it. You can try to take it apart and clean it, but I would guess it needs a new button board.

How to format an SD card for vivicam 6200w underwater camera

Formatting is always accessed in the Set Up menu.

Alternatively, if you buy an SD card reader ($25 from Walmart), you can format it on your computer via Windows Explorer. I bought one of these two days ago.

How deep this camera can be used ?

Hi,

The recommended maximum depth the camera can go to is 10 meters. However there have been reports that it can go deeper without problems, but if you do this it's at your own risk.

Regards.

Unable to download pictures from a Vivicam 6200w

I have he same problem with the vivicam 6200W as well. The only solution is to remove the card from the camera and use a SD card reader to read it to the computer. The included driver in the CD ROM will not allow direct access to an installed SD card. Removing the SD memory card will allow you to access the camera memory itself.

The better solution is to cluck the camera away and never ever buy a vivitar again. Get a FUJI or cannon with an underwater water casing.

I have a book. I can scan it and send it to you if you are interested. I love this camera more than my other digital. OK

Instructions to reset the photo count on the camera is basically deleting what pics are still there.

My camera lens and flash are fogged up on my ViviCam 6200w.

If it's on the inside, it will have to be partially disassembled and dried out. For some reason, moisture is getting inside the camera. It's possible you have a minute leak at one of the seal points.
