SOURCE: vauxhall omega 1999 model
THE BACK UP BATTERY INSIDE THE SECONDARY ALARM LOSES ITS CHARGE CAUSING THE ALARM TO TRIGGER .SOLUTION .REMOVE THE ALARM. YOUR ALARM WILL STILL GO OFF THROUGH YOUR HORN .IT IS SITUATED UNDER THE PASSENGER WING BEHIND THE PLASTIC INNER WING UNPLUG IT AND GET RID OF IT.A NEW ONE WILL SET YOU BACK £60 IT COST ME £45 TO GET MINE REMOVED BY AN AUTOELECTRICIAN. HE SUGGESTED THAT I DIDNT PUT ANOTHER TO REPLACE IT THEY JUST GO OFF FOR NOTHING. DOESNT AFFECT YOUR NORMAL ALARM
