Hard drive (by 3 users)

I'm trying to installanew harddrive to my toshiba but it will not recognize it. I have twodifferent hard drives, one is30 gband the other is16,but it will not recognizeneither one. What could it be. All the hard drives are from toshiba. The machine is a Toshiba Satellite 2100 cds. Canyou help?

I am unable to install my hard drive for my HP Pavillion dv1000 notebook. The pins are not catching.

the firm ware in the machine (depending how old it is)might not recognise that size drv or it needs formating,either way you can
fix this with Disk Wizard.
