I purchased a Leap Frog Read & Write Leap Pad Learning System in

I purchased a Leap Frog Read & Write Leap Pad
Learning System in October of 2008. We are active in box #1. Now the toy does not turn on and does not respond. I have tried making sure batteries are correctly installed with battery cover securely attached. Batteries have been removed and put them back in. Battery contacts have been cleaned as instructed. New batteries have been installed. I also tried inserting cartridge from box #2. Still the toy does not turn on and does not respond. Is there anything else I can do to fix this problem short of exchanging it at the store where it was purchased?

Hi,

Got my little girl a leap pad 2 for Xmas an my son broke the screen can I get them fixed???

you can actually but the problem is not by who or how but getting the replacement screen..

you can get the screen from Leap-pad, you need to call them and get on to sales..

now you have 2 choices, you can a.) buy the screen and have a local tech change it for you, or change it yourself.. (quite easy, open it up, unplug that screen, plug in the new one, reassemble.) yes it just jacks into the main board.

or you can send it into leap-pad to have them fix it for you..

I would recommend you decided which your more convenient and cheapest for you.

I have a diji and it says it needs a tune up. How do you tune up a leap frog diji.

You need to hook it up to your computer with the cable that came with it.

Leap Frog Smart Globe Pen broke - which replacement pen do I order?

Hi, I just ordered 2 pens - the price was $5 per pen including S+H. I was told that the globe that we have ( smart globe, purchased in 2003 or so ) is a discontinued model so I just ordered an extra one just in case. The pens should arrive within 10-15 business days according to the costumer rep. Good luck!

Either the wire is broken inside the insulation, or the batteries are dead.

Broken Leap Frog Leapster Learning Game System

I purchased a Leapfrog Leapster in end of June sales last year for my daughter's birthday in October 2008. When she first turned it on it froze but after restarting played fine for 2 hrs then died and refused to work again. Fortunately I had kept my receipt (Target) but was still worried about it having been 4 months prior. They ended up giving me a store credit as they no more in stock at that store and I picked one up from another Target without having to pay the difference between my original sale price. I know you don't have the receipt but you could contact the place of purchase and ask them even if they are able to send off for repairs or put you in contact with the right people. Hope it helps a little ...
